Wear Red November 26 – Wednesday!

October 25, 2016 Posted by Ms. Brunner

The Red Ribbon Campaign was started when drug traffickers in Mexico City murdered DEA agent Kiki Camarena in 1985. This began the continuing tradition of displaying Red Ribbons as a symbol of intolerance towards the use of drugs. The mission of Red Ribbon Campaign is to present a unified and visible commitment towards the creation of a DRUG-FREE AMERICA. This year’s national theme is “YOLO. Be Drug Free”. Let’s unite and all wear Red on Wednesday to celebrate YOLO…You Only Live Once…so make positive and healthy choices!

To represent your commitment to be Drug Free please wear a red shirt tomorrow. The Middle School will be taking a picture to show their unity and dedication to making positive and healthy choices.
Remember YOLO….Let’s make it count!

Run T.A.L.L. 2016

October 11, 2016 Posted by Ms. Brunner

Hilbert Schools participated in the Run T.A.L.L event on October 8 in New Holstein.  Students from the elementary, middle, and high attended the 5k walk/run.  The Run T.A.L.L event has a goal to bring together students and communities to promote tolerance, acceptance, love, and leadership.  Many different schools and towns participate in the event.

Hilbert Middle School won a prize for having the largest percentage of students at the event.  It was a bit chilly that day, but it looks like everyone had fun!
