6th Grade Castles

May 31, 2017 Posted by Ms. Brunner

Every year, the 6th graders learn about castles.  The final project is to make a castle of their own.  They have to label the different parts.  From there, the students decide what materials to use, how big to make it, and how to put it together.  This year, we had a wide variety of materials, colors, and fight scenes.

Enjoy a few of the castles from this year.

April 18, 2017 Posted by Ms. Brunner

For the 8th grade business class, each business always picks a charity to donate their earnings to.  This year, every business picked to donate to the same person.  They all chose to donate the money to Emily Koehler.  Emily, in turn, has chosen to donate some of the money to other organizations that have helped her.

January 31, 2017 Posted by Ms. Brunner

On January 25, 2017, Mr. Krueger held the Hilbert 7th and 8th grade Geography Bee. 10 students took part of the final round for the bee. Congratulations to the following participants for making it into the bee: Justin, Jackson, Tyler, Alexa, Blake, Owen, Jack, Garett, Sam, and Ethan.
Each round of competition had a different geography based topic. It is not easy being in front of a crowd, and you all did very well.

2nd Quarter Incentive Planned!

January 4, 2017 Posted by Ms. Brunner

For the 2nd Quarter Incentive, the performers from Comedy Sportz in De Pere, WI will be coming to Hilbert.  On January 19th, all students passing classes and meeting all requirements will get to attend the show.  It is an improv comedy show.  The performers will act out scenes based on audience suggestions, and there may even be some audience participation.  It is like the tv show Who’s Line Is It Anyway?

Here is a short clip of a show to give you an idea of what it will be like.
